Is a Sagittarius ever really capable of settling down?!
Question: Is a Sagittarius ever really capable of settling down!?
I'm just curious about your opinions!. I am a Sag (with a Sag rising and a Sag moon as well) and I always feel restless!.
Do you think I could ever be stable and happy with a settled life!?
Right now, I am married (quite happily) to an Aries with a Sag rising and a Taurus moon and after some rocky years things are actually really good between us!. We have a great family and a great kid!.
But he wants to buy a house and my idea of stability is an RV!. LOL
I sometimes think I need to grow up, but just don't know how!. It's very tough for me to stay in one place for too long, to complete a task other than parenting (for some reason, regarding my son, I can be quite stable) and I just seem so flighty!. I often feel unsatisfied with my life and take drastic measures to change it up - whether than means moving to a new state or cutting off all of my hair or changing my major!.
Thankfully my lovable Aries is tolerant of me and loves me anyway!. I just don't know!.

I know exactly what you mean!. I'm a Sag with three planets in Sag as well as a Scorpi venus!. I will marry my Scorpi/Aqua fiancee of 2 years in September, I'm not sure how she puts up with my restlessness, lol!.
The trick is just to think of your home as a "base of operations"!. It's not a prison!. You aren't bound there for life, or for any real part of your day!.
I once moved every 3 years, and was very uncertain that I would ever live in a set place!. Then, I realized that it sucks to keep all your stuff with you at all times, and even if you do have a home!.!.!.you can still go out and be free!
Take short but frequent vacations!. Heck, hang a map in your living room of the world and color in each place you've been or want to see!. Take your family with you!. Aries is always up for something, and I've always thought that children should experience everything they can!.
Decorate the house with stuff that you normally don't see in a house!. I put a koi pond in my living room , lol, just for kicks!. (Besides all of the koi, you can tell that an animal loving Sag lives there--I have 2 snakes, a dog, a cat, and a ferret--a real zoo) I also use chemistry glassware for glasses and cups, just to see the faces of people I invite to dinner!. ^_^ You don't need to go that overboard, but just look at it as a place where you are free to do whatever you want!.
Yes, everybody makes a HUGE deal about buying a house, but laugh in their face and claim that it's not!. It's all about perspective, dear!. Stable and settled doesn't have to mean bored stiff!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, I'm a Sag through and through, and I don't seem to have an itch to keep moving around, and being complacent is very appealing to me, so I guess it all comes down to personal preference!.
To me life changes enough, and throws enough curve balls for me rather than seek them out!. But if keeping things spicy makes you more content, then find the things you can do that won't interrupt you stable Aries-like changing hair, clothes, activities etc!.

Owning things brings stability (NOT a Sag priority)!. There are free spirits in the world who care to own or possess very little, except the Secrets of the Universe!. However, I request that you do try to acquire a little property for the times that the rain will fall!. You will be glad then that you did build a little safety nest!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
you rock!. i understand where you are coming from on it!. My moon is sag and its in my 7th house- which controls marriage and relationships!. i would hate to be tied down in one area for a long time too so i understand fully where you are coming from!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes, Sagittarius are capable of settling down!. It all depends on the Sagittarius!. You feel the way you do because you have a LOT of Sagittarius in your chart!. First your a triple Sagittarius and then on top of that you said you have 3 other planets in Sagittarius!. That's a ton of Sagittarius for you to have in your chart but that's why your uniquely you!. I'm a Sagittarius and I love being settled down!. Don't get me wrong I have had many times in the past where I just felt really restless no matter what!. I have 3 other planets in Sagittarius but like I said feeling this way really does depend on the Sagittarius!.

One of my best friends is a very strong Sagittarius!. She has her sun, rising and mercury in Sag and Jupiter is tightly conjunct her ascendant!.
She gets bored in one place and constantly moves apartments and likes moving far away she just loves the experience!. And if she can't move she rearranges the furniture in her apartment because she needs something different!. She doesn't even really know why she does this herself she said she just needs a change when she starts feeling bored!.
She's extremely loyal to her boyfriends and can remain so but they have a hard time with her when she "roams" about but she does try hard to compromise with them!. She doesn't like a clingy man and complains that all her boyfriends have been clingy!. I don't think they've been clingy, just too clingy for her!.
