ME TOO!. I hate the stereotypes!. I also am very, very cynical towards love!. Here is my Natal "Line-up":
Sun = Libra
Moon = Aquarius
Mercury = Scorpio
Venus = Scorpio
Mars = Aquarius
Rising = Capricorn
First of all, I am anti-Libra in that I DO NOT look for partnership, DO NOT seek to be in group settings, and DO NOT conform to society's laws!. I am an Aquarius Moon to a tee!. Independent (I'd rather be alone than follow anyone else), Original, Rebellious (I have numerous driving tickets lol!.!.!.I just want to be free get the HELL out of my way), Aloof, and Mistrusting of people!. I assume people are out to get me when they're not, and thus I simply do not trust men!. The fact that an ex cheated on me makes it even worse!. It is very hard for men to earn my trust, and trust is the most important thing!.
Second, my Venus in Scorpio seems to help me see straight through any and everything romantic!. I hate flowery words, and I hate empty flirtation!. I can see straight through it, and it's hollow and it means nothing to me!. A man has to stir my soul, show me a deeper passion, show me that he can be loyal and trustworthy, and also approach circumstances straightforwardly and directly!. I hate indirect behavior!.!.!.don't play games with me because I won't put up with it!. I'm all or nothing, and I can usually see the end of things before they begin, so I have become a complete cynic about the topic of love!. Sounds horrid, doesn't it!? I'm just fed up with it!.
So, do you hate the idea of being in love, or are you just completely fed up with it, because you have not, up until this point, been given any reassurance that you'll find the person that will meet your standards!?

In my own experience, Libras seem to love being in relationships!.!.!. but they seem to tire of them very easy as well!. They seem kind of!.!.!. picky!.!.!. and not particularly nurturing at all - sort of 'me me me' in the relationship if you know what I mean!. My impression of Libras is that they enjoy company very much, but on their own terms, when they want it!. They also often don't like other people feeling like they have an advantage over them (maybe you have somewhat of a fear of this yourself, and this fear overrules any romantic Libra influence that you may have!?)

I think when people have a difficult time embracing love from others or even the thought of sharing love/affection - they have usually had some type of trauma happen in there lives or have witnessed trauma!.
I think it turns into a self defense tactic to keep yourself in a 'comfort zone'!. I have met many people like this - it can become a habit later in life if left undealt with - there are usually other issues involved as well!.!.!.!.they act as a 'mask' or disguise for onlookers - a camoflage in a sense - you look, act and seem fine - and you will probably end up believing this at some point if you do not deal with it - very hard to identify and even harder for a person to deal with on their own - lots of denial involved!
I don't know you except from here on Y/A - I do not intend to offend you in any way - this is just my opinion based on my own experiences (myself and others I have known well and even breifly)!. We (as individuals) these days are quick to throw a temporary 'band-aid' on a problem or issue and leave it undealt with - band-aids don't last forever and the cut will eventually get worse and even spread 'infection' (negaitivity) if a blind eye is the only thing that takes notice!
Bonds - by the way - are not shallow - if you can put your heart into them! I have many bonds - some that are strong enough to last a lifetime and some that aren't so strong - but all are strong enough for me to put those before myself and do what is necessary for a friend or relative with whom I share that bond! You should do a full chart, the way you feel is based more on your moon sign, you can find out what it is at www!.cafeastrology!.com and it will give you a detailed breakdown!. I have seen a lot of stuff about vedic astrology too - which would make you a different sign than the standard western ones that we have adapted here so you could look into that too and maybe you will be able to identify with it better!.

Take a look at the ruler of your 7th house!. That would be Mars because Libra is your ascendant!. You have Aries on your 7th house cusp which is ruled by Mars!. So look at where Mars is in your chart by sign, house, and aspects!. That will give you additional clues as to what you want (or dont want) from a relationship!.
