i like how you asked if you should wait it out and see if the universe steps in!.!.!.!.i just realized a couple months ago that i have met my soulmate thanks to the universe!.!.!.however, we are not together at this time!.
he is a cancer and i am a libra and these are not suppose to be compatible signs but you cant look at sun moon and rising signs alone!.!.!.you also have venus, mars, and mercury signs which are importnat!.!.!.as well as saturn!.
your aquarius rising is definitely what gives you that attraction to the leo!. since you dont know his ascendant it looks like it migh not be that great of a match only because both your sun and moon are feminine signs and his are both masculine!.
