I was walking down the street and saw a sign on the lamp post, it said, 'Reward.Lost $50, if found, just keep it.'

Of course the thing you've lost is going to turn up in the last place you look. You're not going to carry on looking for it once you find it, are you?

A man losses his donkey and gets down on his knees to thank god. A passer-by asks, 'why are you thanking god when you've lost your donkey?' the man replies, 'well , thank goodness l wasn't on it at the time or l'd be lost too.

Two little boys come home with a football. 'where did you get that from? asks their mother, we found it' they say, 'are you absolutely sure it was lost? says mum. 'yes' say the kids. 'we saw the people looking for it.'

I was walking down 5th avenue today and l found a wallet. l was going to keep it, rather than returning it, but l thought: well, if l lost $150, how would l feel? andl realised l would want to be taught a lesson
