Is this the stupidest joke ever?

I kid you not, one of the customers at my dad's shop told this joke one day:
If it takes half a chicken half a minute to lay half an egg, how long does it take a one legged duck to hop backward down Court Street in the middle of traffic? Yellow, because typewriters don't eat bananas!
I absolutely love that joke just because nobody gets it. Before anyone gives themself a headache trying to analyze it, there's nothing to get; it's funny because it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
