For those of you who gave the "blind" answers (ж¤cвэcк¤ж, Aquaboy, moosehinich, Hyper Science Class!…) I'm sure she was taking the blind aspect out of the question. Use a little common sense. Blind people usually have a cane or a dog with them, okay? She was merely asking why non-blind people wear shades at night, so stick with the gist of the question.
I have theories, too.
1. Pirplepashn hit it on the nose. Some people are bothered by glare, and need to filter it, day and night.
2. Pretty granny may have it right, too. A person may wanna hide a black eye, or soothe his red eyes.
3. For the most part, aside from those other reasons, I think people wear shades at night just to try to look cool. Of course, we all know instead of coolish, they look foolish.
