What am I?
I can sizzle like bacon, I am made with an egg,
I have plenty of backbone, but lack a good leg.
I peel layers like onions, but still remain whole;
I can be long, like a flagpole, yet fit in a hole.

its a SNAKE!!!! well all snakes answer that question, so a rattlesnake is out of the question. but a snake can sizzle, its born out of an egg, it has backbone because it has a long backbone, but it has no legs/ it sheds it skin so thats the layers, but it still remains in one peice. and they casn be huge! but still squeeze into little wholes. SNAKE!!!
