Why does it say "shake well" on ketchup bottles, but not ketchup packe!

Why does it say "shake well" on ketchup bottles, but not ketchup packets?
Answers:
I don't no but if i find out i will let you no.... it could be that once you open the bottle air gets in and that lets the ingredients settle.. only a thought>>>
