korean students usually come back home late from studying.. from that, one student walked to apartment elevator to go home. (korean apartments have 19 floors up). so the young student wanting to go home, went inside the elevator and waited for the elevator to go up the floors.. he noticed someone standing in the same elevator with him.. he thought it was his mom, so he started saying, "mom, mom i am here. i came back from studying at the library!" no answer.. he kept on telling, but nothing. finally, the elevator bell rang, and the student realized he was on the floor of his apartment. he stepped out and started heading towards the door. as the elevator door stared closing, the student looked back, wondering who that was on the elevator.. he looked back, and that someone looked up and finally responded with one question. "if i was really your mom, then how could i be a gee-shin?" (ghost in korean).
