Alaska. They had an Alaskan-imposed limit of 6 moose between them and they shot their limit. They called for their bush pilot to take them out. The pilot, after a short period, arrived. He looked at the pile of moose and said -"I can only take you two guys and 3 moose". Wladek was enraged - "How come? Last year we have 6 moose and GOOD pilot fly us away!" The pilot thought for a second and finally said - "I don't like it but I'll give it a try." They loaded up the six moose carcasses and the two hunters. The pilot was correct - he fired the engines as quickly as they could go, gave it all the juice he could find but to no avail. The plane rose to 1200 feet then nosed over and dropped like a stone. The smoke was still clearing from the crash site when Wladek crawled out, looked around him and said - "Stpan, this looks like the same place we crash last year!"
