One spider climbs precariously up the sheer porcelian sides to the top and says "come up, it's dead easy, they must have used a scourer recently because there are loads of foot holds"
The other spider cosiders the assent and says "No thanks, I'd rather go down the plug hole myself" So he braves the plug hole and U-bend only to re-emerge in the bath tub some three feet away. "dam" he thinks "If I'd followed my friend I could have been out of this mess by now. As it is I'll have to pretend to be Lawrence of Arabia and be cast adrift upon enamel dunes"
