Just one more 'Irish joke' ?
Paddy & Murphy were doing some road repairs for their local council, 11 o'clock comes round and Paddy says "shall we have a bite to eat now Murphy?"
Murphy replies " Ay we'll go and sit down thure under those noice trees"
Paddy answers " No, no. No need for all that fuss, we'll just set down here in the road."
Murphy's very worried that it'll be too dangerous, but Paddy manages to reassure him.
A few minutes into their break a speeding sports car hurtles round the corner, sees the labourers and swerves off the road into the trees!
Paddy carries on munching happily, turns to Murphy and says contentedly " you see it's a good job we weren't sitting under them there trees!"
