I can make you sing and laugh and dance,
I can send you into the sweetest trance,
I can light your way in the darkest of nights,
And be your protector in the roughest of fights.
I’m a trap for beasts from dragons to unicorns,
And, through me, their power can be drawn.
But despite all this, you should recall,
That I’m the most deadly weapon of them all.
What am I?
