Why do we find farts so amusing ?
Hi Folks,
Is this just a Brit thing ? I doubt it.
Many a joke has been scribed to do with farts.
It is a natural but amusing function.
Kids blow "rasberries" to emulate farts
You can buy recordings of nothing but genuine farts
I got this computer to fart upon a windows error.
"Gad, Sir ! have you farted ?"
"Of course I have. I do not smell like this all the time"
Or the bloke, with the vicar around for tea, farted and kicked the dog. The dog then farted, which was worse.
They come out in catagories, seemingly.
The silent "whoof" - which normally stinks violently
The "preep" , which is a dissapointment
The "blarp", which suggests a visit to the loo soon
The "full long noisy", a fine example

Answers: It's not just the Brit's It's worldwide. I saw a documentary on Bushmen in Africa. The whole family of Bushmen were sitting around and the old man farted, and they all laughed. bob, you're nuts because they stink and make people act stupid. hehehe! Plus they're a good way to get rid of someone. coz of embarrassed expressions on the face of culprit?well i for one can't resist the temptation to watch that horribly embarrassed face and have a good laugh lol, I dont know why, but farts are sooo funny! Once, last year sometime, my boyfriend had an upset tummy, and done this fart that was like nothing I'v ever smelt before. It was so bad that it woke me up and made me run screaming from the room. He also woke up going "oh God, whats that smell?!" Honestly, it smelt like something had died in our bedroom. It still makes me laugh thinking about it now. Also, a friend of mine got in the lift at her work once, and someone had got in there before her and farted and the smell was still hanging about. The lift stopped at the next floor down, two boys from her office got in, sniffed, then looked at her all disgusted. Now everyone in her office gives her a funny look and a snigger whenever they see her. It always makes me laugh to think of that, too. I am very immature ;) I've never really put that much thought into it. I'll just agree for now....
