If an orange is orange, why isn't a lime called a green, and a lemon called !

Question:

If an orange is orange, why isn't a lime called a green, and a lemon called a yellow?

Answers: i'm guessing whoever named it had a "blonde" moment
(no offense to blondes!) righhhtt I agree. cuz thats not what its called well than you would have a real dilema what would you call a banana? you can't have 2 yellows you woudl just confuse people. because language circular because there are too many green and yellow foods.. you cant call them all yellows or greens if you think about it really carefully, you will realize that crayola does have a "lime" green, and also a "lemon" yellow...so it would be redundant to call an orange "orange" so they don't...they just say it once...
