REMEBER GUYZ I WANT THE AREA not THE PERIMIDER Put two together and you would have a quadrilatral with 4 eqyaul lenth sides - a parellogram or diamond shape. The area would be the same as a square,
so 20cm x20cm = 400 cm

half for the triangle is 200sq cm 60 cm. its equilateral all three sides are equal. 20 times three is 60. The area of a triangle is half the base times the height.
To find the height, use Pythagoras - h = sqrt(20^2 - 10^2)
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>=10*(sqrt(3))
Area = 0.5*20*(10*sqrt(3))
>>>>= 100*sqrt(3)
>>>>= 173.2050.... cm^2 the area of an equilateral triangle is the square root of 3 divided by 4 times the lenght of the side squared.
memorize this formula, it will make your life easier:)
