Find the Missing Pound - RIDDLE?!

Question:

Find the Missing Pound - RIDDLE?

3 Men all have £10 each and need a T.V. They all go to the T.V. shop with there £10's. They ask "how much for that T.V.". "30 replys the boy behind the counter", they all pay there £10 an are on there way with the T.V.
The young boy tells his boss he's sold the T.V. for 30 quid, the bos points out that the T.V. is only £25 and to catch up with the blokes and give them there fiver back.
The boy grabs 5 £1 coins from the till and gives chase, While on his way he realises £5 doesn't split between 3 so he pockets £2.
When he catches the men he explains that they've payed too much and gives them a pound back each, keeping the £2 for himself.
Now each man has payed only £9 each (£27), £2 in the lads pocket.
Where is the other pound???

Answers: This is a famous riddle and is simply a play on words. Instead of saying 27 plus 2 it should be 27 minus 2 to give you 25. Does give you a bit of a headache tho!!! couldnt be bothered to read the whole thing and even if i did i would not be able to work it out - these things always have werid tricks which i dont get They paid £9 for the tv 25 and the £2 in the pocket. plus the 3 they got back. therefore no missing pound - It's just the way you tell it. HE ATE IT u dont work it out that way
u c since they only paid 27$
the total is no longer 30$
the tv was 25$
the boy kept 2$
they received 3$ refund
25+2+3=30 i can understand the logic that it does add up to 30 wen you add 25 plus the 5, but its doing my head in to try and explain how they each paid 9 for the telly but theres only 2 in the boys pocket which equals 29,,, what am i doing wrong thats unfair i cant figure it out :-( i read der answers and dont get any of them
