3Guys went to a hotel!
they each payed 35$! total 105$!
the owner of the hotel gave the servant 5$ to take it back to the guys!
the servant took 2$ form the 5$ so he can split the money between them!
so he gave every guy 1$! so the hotel cost every guy 34$ total 102$!
with 2$ that the servant took it's gonna be 104$ what happened to the last dolor!

(34*3)+2 = 104! :D

When $5 was removed from the $105 this makes each guy spent $33.33 not $34. If they were refunded with $1 each their total individual expense should have been $34.33.

Therefore,

34.33 x 3 = 102.99 or 103

plus the $2 that was taken by the servant = $105

They pay 34$ each which equals 102$. But they also have the 1$ each which was given back to them, therefore making 100$. The 2$ kept by the servant is irrelavent because the 3 guys have still paid 34$ each (or 102$ total) whether that's to the owner or the servant it doesn't matter.

the remaining 3$ was split between the three guys
