Question: a long time ago this guy told me the albatross riddle... it's seriously been like four years and i haven't figured it out. will someone just give me the freakin answer please???

So it's the one where a guy goes to a restaurant and orders albatross soup, then goes outside and shoots himself, right?
Well, he and his wife were in a plane crash. So the people (crew) on the plane said "Well, there are a lot of albatross birds here, so that's what we're going to eat" So they did. Then people began disappearing, and no one knew what happened to them. The guy's wife disappeared, too. Finally, they were rescued. Now at the restaurant this guy is eating the soup, and it tastes nothing like what he ate on the island. So he figures out that the soup he ate on the island was actually made of /people/, and that he probably ate his wife, because that's why people were disappearing. Kind of gross, but yeah.
