There was a guy who was on his way to home. He had to stop three places before getting to home. When he go to home there was a guy waiting for him in a mask. Whatwere the three places he stopped before he got to home? And who was the guy waiting for him in a mask at home?

i heard this riddle before only it was a little different. heres how it went:
A man left home running. He ran a ways and turned left, ran the same distance and turned left again. Ran the same distance and turned left again. When he got home there were two masked men. Who are they?

Is obviously Baseball, The three bases are the places he stopped before going to Home Plate and the Catcher, who wears a protective mask ans gear to protect himself from the pitcher's pitched balls is at home plate waiting to tag him out.
