Riddle! :]?!

Question: My cousin's dad told me this.

There is a man who has some sort of illness or whatever. He goes to the doctor, who tells him to take four pills over two days.

Two of the pills are "Pill A" and the other two are "Pill B". He needs to take one Pill A and one Pill B each of the days. The pills look EXACTLY the same. No, there is no little "A" or "B" marked on them. The man mixes up the two pills and loses track of which one is which (I know, what a tard).

So, how does he take the diagnosed amount of pills. NO, HE CANNOT TAKE THEM ALL AT MIDNIGHT. :] Goodluck.

You said he mixes up the 2 pills...not all four. So if he only mixed up his A's with eachother and his B's with eachother, then he will still know which are the A's and which are the B's. He can't take them all at midnight nor can he take one every 12 hours (because if they are all mixed up then he might accidentally take two A's then 2 B's or vice versa instead of A-B-A-B).

***EDIT***Taking all 4 pills and cutting them in half would not work either. If you have 2 A's and B's but them in half that gives you 4 A (1/2) and 4 B (1/2). But all the halves will look the same and will be mixed together, so when you pick 4 to take, you are not insured that you are taking 2 A (1/2) and 2 B (1/2).

So I really don't know...none of the other answers seem right but I can't figure out what is right. You are going to post the answer right?! This is bother me so much now!!! =]

Wouldn't your cousins dad be your uncle?

No idea please tell me

did he mix up the two pills or mix up both of the bottles? If he just mixed up the two pills he can take them both and it should be fine. IF this isn't right would you please post the answer i am curious to know.

go back to the doctor and tel him your problem with the mixed pilles. and next time put them in different bags and label them!!

Take one pill every 12 hours is my guess

Yeah, I think her cousin's dad WOULD be her uncle. That's weird.

then he′s going to divide the pills in halfs and takes a half of each pills..so it takes 4 halfs meaning 2 pills.....and since there are halfs is going to be sure it gets one b pill and one a pill′..so no matter if he mixed all of them because taking a half of each pill is going to make again the amount of pill he needs...and be sure he gets 1 a and 1 b....
