Question: Good philosophy question. Have fun.

Answers: Good philosophy question. Have fun.

A noun is a noun. Removing it's purpose won't change how we identify it. Piano keys have nothing to unlock, yet we wouldn't even think to associate them with unlocking.

a donkey is ha!! if there is nothing to unlock then there would not be a key in the 1st place :)

yes...a key is still a key if it can't unlock anything, just as a bed is still a bed if noone is sleeping on it...

musical key
nautical key
key plan
key stone
key-rikey
tak-key

this reminds me of plato...

Yes, a key will always be a key.
