it all depends on your belief however they also support each other if you are christian and don't believe in evolution then the chicken came first to create the egg if you believe in evolution the egg came first and slowly transformed into a chicken... however the egg could not hatch without the chicken so i would go with the chicken for either side................... as your head explodes BAM!!!!!

I always get my brain twisted thinking about this. Ryme or reason says there has to be a chicken to lay an egg but I'd say there has to be an egg to hatch a chick so I'm still sticking with the EGG!
