Just relax and do not stress out when anyone starts that conversation. Chances are, that person is reminiscing about a treasured moment. To be able to listen and grin is such a great gift for you and the person telling the story. You have to give others a chance to have their moments as you want to have your moments. My favorite is, "My great great granny would roll over in her grave if she saw me do this." If my parents can see me from above, they would be still swirling for the sins of my youth. With age, comes less learning and more educating.
