OMG, lol when I read that I freaking cracked up =]! Anywayssss to answer your question: Jimmy "afro" james is just a poor "african american" (black) slave was working down in south carolina. Usually he's out plowing the frield or raising young underprivlaged oxen how to dance. So oneday jimmy grew tired of these odd jobs and decided to take a hammer to an old piece of corn. Jimmy was pleased and showed his master Kevin (the white man.) Kevin just laughed and said "I don't care. It so happens that slave Shoshona Blacky overheard and wrote a catchy toon that helped the slaves pass the time away. I HOPE YOU LOVED THIS MADE UP HISTORY LESSON!

I don't care

idk! its a dumb song

This was on an episode of "Pinky And The Brain".

"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
"I think so, Brain ... but if Jimmy cracks corn, and no one cares, why does he keep on doing it?"

p.s. Narf!

its a kids song - they never make any sense.

why would they make a song about the black plague? "ring around the rosie... pocket full of posies.."

its sick

That song is originally from Minstrel shows, dating back to the early 1800's.

It about a slave that's sad b/c his master died ( I think).

because they are immature

I Care!

Because they know it means he farted, and they are too nice to talk about it all the time.
Besides, it gets old after a while.
