You dont know what door is which and what guard is which. You have a total of one question. You have to ask both of them the same question.. Whats the one question you can ask them to find safety. ask each guard what the other would say is the door to safety.
then take the other door.
The liar will say that the truthful one will say the wrong door because he lies.
The truthful one will say the wrong door because he knows the liar will lie.
Therefore they both will say the wrong door.
ask both guards which door they would go through and you get your answer by their answer
is the liar guarding the safe door? whichever says no is guarding the safe door
