Whats the best riddle you have ever heard?!
Question: There is a guy, dead, in the middle of the desert. He's holding a piece of straw in his hand. Why did he die? (or how)
This is supposed to be a 'yes or no' riddle. Like ur only able to ask 'yes or no' questions to figure it out.
The answer is there were three guys in a hot air balloon that's falling fast, and they only had two parachutes. (you can use as many peeps and parachutes). And the person who drew the smallest (or largerst) piece of straw from the basket had to jump out of the balloon and hope he lives, while the other two jump with parachutes.
It took my class a while to figure it out.

This man was holding this woman hostage on a 25 seat jet plane. There were only to parachutes. At the spot where they landed, they found the two parachutes. One was totally fine, but the other one had a huge hole in the parachute. They found out that both were alive. How?
The answer is that the criminal cut the hole in the parachute, and put it back. Then he had the hostage and himself tied to one parachute. When he released the one they were in, he released the other damaged one, and fled.
BTW, this actually happened.
