What makes people get the chills in the playground rhymes?!

Question: I remember one going:
Dot dot,
Line line,
Spiders crawling up your spine..
Please could you give me some more and possibly the directions. Thanks.

i know alot of versions, this is my fav... Around, around around the world...
(big circle for each "around")
X marks the spot
(big X)
with a dash dash dash
(a line of dashes for each "dash")
and a dot dot dot
(a line of dots of each "dot")
and a big question mark
(well obviously a big question mark, lol)
Trickle up, trickle down trickle, trickle down
(for each trickle up, move you fingers fast and move your hands up, like tickling one's back, same for down, but move your hands down)
with a pinch
(lightly pinch their neck on eash side)
and a squeeze
(grab their sides, a tickleish part)
and a cool mountain breeze
(blow the back of their neck)
hope it helped...

i remember
circle circle
dot dot
now i've got my cooty shot

circle circle
square square
now i've got it everywhere

circle circle
line line
spiders crawling up your spine.

i remember doing it that way.
i dont' remember the directions to it though

Don't step on a crack or you'll break your mama's back.

'Draw a face upon a back,
put two eyes and paint him black.
Which finger did I use?'

The about words were drawn on your friends back with any finger. Your friend then turns around and tries to guess which finger in to drawn with.

But I don't remember what happened when they got the right or the wrong finger.

I remember doing this one on my kids backs, drawing with my fingers. Crisscross X, apple sauce, spiders crawl up your arms, chill bump here, chill bump there, now you have the chill bumps everywhere.

I always remembered that one as:

Criss Cross
(On their back draw an "x" each line for each word)

Applesauce
(Put your fist lightly on their back for emphasis)

Spiders crawling up your back
(Both hands tickling their back up and down)

On the sea
(Rub their back)

A cool breeze
(Blow on it-generally works better if bare)

(Wait a couple seconds, then squeeze their neck)
Now you've got the chilly-wees!

(They should have goosebumps!)

I don't really remember how it went, but when ever we had to sit in assembleys or pep rallys someone would do it on the girls back in front of them. All I remember was in the end you made an "X" and said X marks the spot. I think it was something about a map, because the other girl would trace a path to the x.

Here is another one I found that someone else posted:

"circle circle line line spider crawling up your spine, cool breeze tight squeeze- now you've got the shivers"
