you met him on his birthday. today is his birthday
He gets his birthday on 29th February, so celebrates his birthday on the 28th of Feb instead. Exept one year of the four was a leap year so it was like he had 2 birthdays that year making it 5 birthdays in 4 years.
Can I ask, have you known him for Exactly four years, or four years and a day? Because that rules out a few of the answers above.
