Question: An external counselor came to our school one day to tell us why we shouldn't be "ashamed" to go to the school counselor for help.She said:
"You see... Its nothing to be ashamed of. Everything that is said between the two( the counselor and the student ) is strictly confidential, and therefore secrecy of personal information is assured"
5 minutes later....
"Take the example of this boy named Akshay, for instance, who came to me when I was working in Kolkata. He told me that he had a major problem with parents.You see... one day he was.....(and then she gives us all the details on his problems)"
The session was not all together reassuring.
