Puzzle: next 3 numbers after 3,4,5?!
Question: Given the numbers 3,5,4 what are the next 3 numbers in the sequence?
Apparently, it's not number based. I tried letters, also the numbers spelled out, numbers in roman numerals - but I can't find the apparently obvious answer.
I've also been told there are two correct answers.

5+5=10
4+4=8
Well it could still be number based.
It folows the pattern add 2, subtract 1
so
3, 5, 4, 6, 5, 7
because
3
plus two is
5
minus 1 is
4
plus two is
6
minus 1 is
5
plus two is
7
6, 8, 7
3+2+5, 5-1=4, 4+2=6, 6-1=5, 5+2=7, 7-1=6
So it looks like:3,5,4, 6,5,7, 6,8,7, 9,8,10
