Question: Here is a neat math trick, that may stump you.

Grab a calculator. (you won't be able to do this one in your Head)

1. Key in the first three digits of your phone number ( NOT the Area code)
2. Multiply by 80
3. Add 1
4. Multiply by 250
5. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number
6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again.

very neat trick ... very imaginative ... took me some minutes to figure how it works ...

1. multiply 80 by 250 = 20000
2. any number multiplied by 20000 immediately doubles the number (the four zeroes are reserved for the last 4 digits)
3. you add the last four digits twice, meaning you also doubled the number.
4. dividing a doubled number by 2, takes you to the original number.
5. the adding of 1 before multiplying by 250 and subtracting 250, which cancels out, is a neat diversionary trick.

kudos to your mathematical mind ....

nice line to ask the number of someone you're attracted to ....

it worked!!

thats freakin amazing...like magic!! star for you!!! :)

wow cool!

Interesting, It worked

o my gosh it worked
thats awesome
star

thats awesome!

Um No?!

oh my god it totally worked

That's pretty cool, but weird...

didn't work for me on mobile or land line but I'm in UK so may not work on our numbers but gonna star ya any way

star omg so cool

It is really amazing...even though I knew this math trick already. Here is another math trick for you:

Why did the Disney Imagineers choose 1939 as the base year for when lightning would strike The Hollywood Tower Hotel?

I thought about that recently, and for this "experiment", I'm using the Florida Tower as a base "object" [because it opened in 1994].

This experiment hints to use the year 1939 to find out what year Tower would be celebrating its 13th birthday.

First, one would take a calculator, and subtract 19 from 39. The answer is 20. Subtract the all-important number from Tower, 13, from 20. You get 7.

The first answer you got was 20, and if you suffix the second answer, 7, you get "207", possibly a reference to "2007" when Tower would turn 13 (which it actually did in July 2007).

Try it yourself...it's kinda creepy when you realize that this little trick actually works. I don't think it's a coincidence.

haha woww
what in the worlddd

a star for you.

wow its amazing i ave 2 show my frenz

Wow that's so cool! I tried it and didn't work at first because of my UK no. But then I tried it with the last 7 digits of my no. and it worked - it's a good trick!! :)

Mine doesnt work =(
