They say there is some truth to every lie; I know this isn't a lie, but why !

Question: "I like 'em they have good sound, yes?" LoL. I kidd...

I mean they came from somewhere, people didn't just make 'em up. They weren't created out of spite, they were merely observations of each traditional culture.

Anyways, I'm just having fun with you....be happy. Life's too short to spent it all in one place.

'but why do people hate stereotypes?'

Hey, isn't that sort of a stereotype in itself?

Clearly the truth is that the individual that believes such things about a group of people has seen one or more individuals in that group do a certain thing. The lie is when they assume that the whole group does that thing they saw.

People don't like stereotypes when they are members of a sterotyped group and they feel they do not meet the sterotype. American born people with Indian ancestry, masculine gay men, feminine gay women, non-ebonic black people, mexican people with full mastery of English all would not like sterotypes, but you are right, if they had no basis in truth, they wouldn't become the sterotype in the first place.

there isnt always truth from every lie, sometimes a lie can come from outta no where for no reason. but some lies come from exaggerated stories.

for example: suzie picked a flower

johnny: suzie stole a flower
joey: suzie stole some flowers from the flower shop
annie: suzie broke into a flower shop and stole some cash
