The whole violation thing is silly, and a mystery to me.
I got one recently for answering a multiple choice question - my answer was one of the choices given, word for word. The reason for my violation was given simply as "Solicitation".
YA has been good about responding to my e-mailed requests for an explanation, but their responses say only that violations occur when the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines are contravened. Repeated requests for a specific explanation about why my answer could possibly be deemed "Solicitation" result in their same generic response.
To answer your question - I have no doubt that nothing was wrong with your original question!

because there are alot of self-righteous prudes on here who all gang up, and report what THEY deem "offensive".
See if you can appeal it. I think that if Yahoo keeps getting violation notices from the same poeple, THEY should be banned.

yes. this is like my fifth account, because my others were all deleted (reported an terminated). All I answer is baby names! I get reported if I recomend a name people don't like! or I answer jokes, which all I say is "Haha! Star!". I am tired of things getting reported for no reason!
P.S. I better start making my new account-- I know someone will report me for this!
