Can you believe this??!

Question: I'm doing my CHRISTmas shopping yesterday and I wanted to call my boyfriend after shopping over 12 hours (I got it all done) to come and pick me up. I go to use a bell payphone to call and it's no longer 25 cents to make a local call. It's gone up to 50 cents. I was kinda pissed because I hardly carry change and all I had was a quarter to call him and the rest of my money was on my debit. So what do you think of the jump to twice the price for a local phone call.

That's the cheapest I've heard a payphone was!! Around here, I saw that the price of a phone call was $1.25! Can you believe that?! If I saw you and you needed another quarter I would have given it to you to make your call!

Merry Christmas!

wow that is not really a joke at all

Around here, the price went up about ten years ago. Some privately owned pay phones are at 75 cents. When I was kid, the price was a nickle.

I hope this isn't a trick riddle. or is it a riddle at all? I don't usually use payphones. Learn from your mistakes. Carry 50 cents from now on. I know, if they're going to double the payphone cost they should at least up the minimum wage. some of can't afford that extra 25 cents. Tsk Tsk

whats with the CHRISTmas shopping?
