Try and make a deal with them. Tell them you will buy their product if they buy 30 magazine subsciptions for your kids school.
My buddy works in a office and a telemarketer called one day and they put him on hold and passed him to every person in the office. They had him on hold for 35 minutes.
make up accents, speak different languages, say im sorry i cant talk right now im busy masturbating!
Whenever I answer it is usually a recording.
i keep saying "yeah!" "yeah!" "yeah!" and hang up. :-D
They get paid per call, just listen to their gimmic, and then say you're interested, but you have to finish the call on the other line, and never pick up their call so they are stuck there waiting.
If they ask for you, just say that they have the wrong man because the guy they have been calling has been dead for the past 6 years.
If you know its them calling, then say
"johns mortuary, you bag em' we tag em"
"Sank ou fo cawing my young douta, can I take oda fo pic up o diwivery?"
(Thank you for calling my young daughter, can I take (your) order for pick up or delivery"
Ask them for their home phone number, and when they say why, tell them you want to call them at all the wrong times.
Even if you can hear them start to talk, keep saying "hello, hello" over and over and over til they hang up!
I like to just repeat everything they say until they hang up on you.
tell them you are really busy , but if they would give you their home number you will call them at home later.when they say they don't want to be called at home, say now you know how i feel.
