No, because without light, there would be nothing to compare darkness to, so dark wouldn't exist. Darkness existed the moment light existed, as it is an absence of light. And if light doesn't exist, then it can't be absent from light, get it? Are horses unicorns without a horn? No, because unicorns don't exist, so they are just horses.
