Why do ppl take some jokes to be offensive?!

Because they're too sensitive. People are offended by the dumbest things.

Some can be offensive because they seem less funny and more like a verbal attack
But they're not funny to the person who finds them offensive. They're offensive. They're only funny to you. Kind of like green peppers. I hate them and they don't taste good just because someone else likes them.
It might be offensive to certain people because they have experienced certain things in life that the joke might mock etc. Or some people just need anger management.
Er... if someone said (as a joke) that fat ugly white guys with yellow teeth where the worst in the world and they all deserved to die because they were so disgusting, and YOU were fat and ugly and had yellow teeth, wouldnt you get mad? :P
sorry if it was a stupid example xD first thing that came to mind...
one thing u have to know is that not every body is a joter,secondily it depends on same one's mood at that particular time so to be sucessful u have to read the person before u bring in a joke.
