Dentist joke now this i thought was funny yes or no?!
Question: A particularly voluptuous lady entered the dentists surgery in an obvious state of agitation. The dentist tried to calm her down assuring her that he would do nothing to hurt her. She sat down in the chair and started fidgeting nervously as the dentist began sterilizing all the required equipment. When he asked her to open her mouth, she screamed.
So he tried to calm her down again even though he was losing patience.
Almost immediately the lady threw a hysterical fit, then realizing that the dentist had begun glaring at her, she said, "Oh doctor, I'm so nervous. I hate dentists. Why, I think I'd rather have a baby than have a tooth drilled."
Replied the dentist " Well Miss, better make up your mind fast so that I can adjust the chair accordingly."

Good material, but you need to "dumb it up" a bit. I'm sorry to tell you, but Americans these days aren't THAT educated. While you and I would understand voluptuous, sterilizing, and hysterical, the rest of America may not.

I don't think you can say "particularly voluptuous" - that's just avoiding saying "fat" and really, this is a fat lady joke, isn't it?
"Particularly voluptuous" sounds like she could just have huge breasts or something, and then the punchline isn't funny. And if you don't feel comfortable telling a fat lady joke, don't tell this one.
I LIKE the punchline, but I think structurally the joke is a bit weak. If you told it at a convention or a wedding or whatever I think everyone might groan and then laugh, rather than laughing because it was funny.
I smiled... but didn't guffaw. But then it's all in the delivery, which is kind of hard online :D
