How did she do that?!

Question: Tom and his younger sister were fighting. Their mother was tired of the fighting, and decided to punish them by making them stand on the same piece of newspaper in such a way that they couldn't touch each other.

How did she accomplish this?

Answers: Tom and his younger sister were fighting. Their mother was tired of the fighting, and decided to punish them by making them stand on the same piece of newspaper in such a way that they couldn't touch each other.

How did she accomplish this?

She slid a newspaper under a door, and each sibling stood on each side.

she opened up the page

she ripped the piece of newspaper in half and they stood on each piece.

She put the paper under a door, and they stood on different sides of the door.

She put the paper in a doorway and closed the door with one of them on each side.

Tom stood on the sports section of the paper and his sister stood on the living section of the same newspaper.

Just because they were standing on the same sheet, doesn't mean that they were both standing on it at the same time. :-)

1. she let each stand on one opposite corner back to back
if the page is big enough.
OR
2, she will let each stands on different page of the same newspaper far away from each others .

she told them that they would get boy/girl germs if they touched one another that way they wouldnt touch eachother

My friend Chidambaram had already asked this question last week and my answer had been chosen as the best answer.

THANKS

she placed the newspaper at the floor under a door between two rooms , asked each of the kids to step on , one on each side while close the door between them .
