These must be an interesting question.

As for my observation, only hens can lay the eggs and not the rooster. So the roosters are only needed in order for the egg to be fertilized (to have a baby chicks) together with the hen.

But some ancient Chinese people believes that rooster can lay eggs and can foretell what will happen to human society because of the animal strange behavior.

According to experts of Institute of Animal Science, Jilin University of Agriculture, there are indeed sex-reversal phenomena in animal world.

No. Roosters are male.

no only hens lay eggs

no because its a male.

the rooster comes from the hen.

No. Roosters are male.

No, they cant...... its just like you havn a kid(if u r a boy)

no...its a boy.
the chickens/hens/females lay the eggs

unless i'm missing something, and this is just a joke

No, only hens

no only hens, ducks, and birds that are FEMALE

No roosters are male hens lay eggs roosters fertilize the eggs

Nope. Only hens can..

no an egg has no vagina

roosters are males,
you don't see guys with a huge belly.

no they can't because they are male chickens that is like asking can men have babies no.......... duh!

No rosters can't lay eggs.
There was a house with a roof thats shaped into a triangle.
A Roster sits on the top of the roof and lays an egg.
What way does it roll?

NO! Only females can lay eggs unless you named a female chicken "Rooster". But other wise, no. Male chickens cannot lay eggs.

no, but Chelsey W can lay a big, fatty deuce

No because a rooster is a male....and yes the rooster came before the egg. *dances the funky rooster around the room*

You guys are SOOO sexist! Roosters can have eggs if they want to. Like they could have a sex change. Or a gay couple can adopt (i guess they wouldnt lay it then) DON'T DISCRIMINATE AGAINST THE ROOSTERS. THEY ARE BIRDIES TOO!!! hehehehehe.....

They are not supposed to becaue they are male, however, it is believed to have happened before. There could be a rare mutation that would cause the rooster to lay an egg.
Just as a human could potentially (very very rarely) be born with both male and female genetalia.
Just a quirk in nature.

God looked upon the earth and saw that the world would be a better place if there were two genders. So God created 'males' and 'females'.

When the world had it's first animals appear on the earth, God said unto the hen, "Thou shalt be a hen, and lay eggs to continue the line of hens and roosters and provide man with food."

Than God looked upon the rooster and said, "Thou shalt be a rooster, and look after the hens who lay eggs, in which ye do not."

And God looked at his last and most disappointing creature, one called Michale Jackson, and said unto him, "Thou shalt be a hermaphrodite."

Saying roosters can lay eggs is saying chuck norris cries. Two things that will never happen.

No and well u know why!

Are u scared of ur boss ? ... Performance concern :)

One Day the poultry farm owner gives a stern warning to all the hens... All of u have to lay 2 eggs from now on or i am not gonna feed u.
All the hens get real scared. :)
Next days they all but one lay 2 eggs.
The owner goes to the one that lay just one egg and growls "why did u lay just one egg?"

Response : "Sir... This was because I am really scared of u... But actually I am a rooster"......

I'm not sure why but I thought for some weird reason, some could, but exceptionally.
buti could just be being stupid

NO, BECAUSE THEIR MALES
