Riddle: Dead Hard ?!
Question: Two police officers were investigating a mysterious death.
When they arrived at the scene of the crime they found a room with no windows and the dead man who seemed to have hung himself by a rope from the ceiling.
There was no chair or table that the man may have jumped off.
The only clue was a puddle of water on the floor.
How did the man manage to hang himself.

He hung himself standing on a block of ice.

He put a block of ice and waited for it too melt
this is a very old one...he stood on a huge piece of ice and then waited for it to melt and get hanged...this way he could make people curse him, even after he is dead, but the irony played its role, and the man, instead died of boredom ;-)
