What do you think of my poem "Jacob Malloy"?!
Question: Jacob Malloy was a boy of age six
He spent his time playing dastardly tricks.
While his mother was out
He’d scream and he’d pout
Once she would leave him alone.
Jacob Malloy would steal from strangers
And he would make fun of the failures
He would hide Henry’s hats
And release wild bats
All of his crimes were unknown.
Jacob Malloy was alone in his home
He walked outside and steal the gnome
The gnome that belonged to dead Mr. Smith
Whose existence was no more than a myth
A myth brought on by a single groan
Jacob Malloy stole the garden adornment
Then he stared at the place it was absent
Slowly but surely there came a strange noise
The noise that made him stiffen his poise
From Mr. Smith’s house came a moan.
Jacob Malloy began to perspire
Once he thought of a thing to inquire
Was the ghost of Mr. Smith real?
The thought caused him to let out a squeal
Perhaps he should go back on his own.
Jacob Malloy knew what he had to do
The thought in his mind began
