In a swim meet, they say, "swimmers, step up (the go onto the block), take your mark (grab the block.)" then they wait a few seconds and then press the button that signals the start of the race. you sneeze in the waiting time, which may cause some swimmers to prematurely enter the water. Imagine this on a really large scale...(and it's completely quiet, trust me)
