Brain Teaser?!?!?!?!

Question: There were two brothers who sold eggs.
Each had thirty eggs.
One sold 2 eggs for 1 dollor and the other sold 3 eggs for 2 dollars.
At the end of the day one brother made 20 dollars and the other made 15 dollars (20+15=35)
One day one of the brothers got sick. So he told his brother " Instead of selling 30 eggs 2 eggs for 1 dollar and the other 30 eggs 3 eggs for 2 dollars just sell 60 eggs 5 eggs for 3 dollars."
So the healthy brother sold 60 eggs 5 eggs for 3 dollars.
at the end of the day he made 36 dollars.
He gave 20 dollars to his brother and took 15 for himself but there was one dollar left.
Where did it come from? Who is it for?
----No there's nothing wrong with the words----

This is just a clever piece of math.
If you take the price of each individual egg sold:
2 for 1 dollar = 50 cents each.
3 for 2 dollars = 66.6 cents each.
Add them together and divide by 2, and the average egg price in the first batch is 58 cents (rounded down).
At the new pricing of 5 eggs for 3 dollars, each individual egg is 60 cents.
Therefore, the eggs are being sold at a fractionally higher price the second time around, hence the extra dollar.

What the heck! hehe thats too much to think about at the moment!

5 EGGS = $3
60 EGGS = 60/5 = 12

12 * 3 = 36

$36 FOR 5 EGGS AT $3

I go with Darren J. Too brain fried to figure it out myself.

He sold it 60 eggs /5= 12 sets of 5 eggs multiplied by 3= 36

OMG whoa wayy too confusing for me! I was fine until one of them got sick, then I was lost!

Who in their right mind would wanna do math while their on the internet

do i really wanna spend my time doing this?

Isn't this supposed to be funny?????

waaahh, you're giving me headaches!
