Help with this teaser from Die Hard 3 pls?!
Question: There's a scene at a fountain where McClaine is given 2 water jars ie a 5 qrt jar and a 3 qrt jar. How does he manage to fill the 5 qrt jar with exactly 4 qrts of water??

take the 3qt jug, fill it up, and dump it into the 5 qt jug
take the 3qt jug, fill it up, and dump 2qts into the 5qt jug
empty out the 5qt jug and put the remaining 1qt of the 3qt jug in
fill the 3qt jug again and dump into the 5qt jug
You should now have 4qts in the 5qt jug

he should fill the 5 quart jar, then tip it into the 3 quart jar until the 3 quart jar is full this leaves 2 quarts in the 5 quart jar. Now he empties the 3 quart jar back into the fountain and tips the 2 quarts in the 5 quart jar into the 3 quart jar.
Finally he refills the 5 quart jar and pours as much as possible into the 3 quart jar. Since the 3 quart jar already has 2 quarts in it it will only take one more quart, leaving four quarts in the five quart jar.
Fill the 5 using the 3 twice - that leaves 1 leftover in the 3.
Then pour the 1 from the 3 into the 5. And then add another full 3 aswell.
