A Riddle... somewhat hard?!

Question: A man was to be sentenced, and the judge told him, "You may make a statement. If it is true, I'll sentence you to four years in prison. If it is false, I'll sentence you to six years in prison." After the man made his statement, the judge decided to let him go free. What did the man say?

Answers: A man was to be sentenced, and the judge told him, "You may make a statement. If it is true, I'll sentence you to four years in prison. If it is false, I'll sentence you to six years in prison." After the man made his statement, the judge decided to let him go free. What did the man say?

you will sentence me to six years!

This statement is false. Or, you will sentence me to six years in prison.

Nothing!!

I dont know???

free

He said, "You'll sentence me to six years in prison." If it was true, then the judge would have to make it false by sentencing him to four years. If it was false, then he would have to give him six years, which would make it true. Rather than contradict his own word, the judge set the man free.

He said "You will sentence me six years in prison" which s true, to contradict the judge left him free

He didn't say anything, he wrote, I plead the fifth.

your riddle doesn't make sense there was only 2 choices 4 or 6 years so how can he go free .

The man said that you will sentence me to six years. If this is true than the judge would have to sentence him to four years. If it is false then the judge would have to sentence him to six years which would be a contradiction.

Wait a min... if the guy says "you'll sentance me to six years" what will happen??? I mean if they don't do ANYthing then the statement will b false ryt?
