Question: me and my friend were kinda prank calling a store. Well not really we were just asking if they had gum in a really high pitched voice because it was funny. Then this teenage girl got on the phone and said who is this? I said a customer and she goes stop prank calling you can get in alot of troble so I suggest you grow the f*** up. Then we both hung up. Can we really get in trouble for playing a little joke and asking for gum? And is she really allowed to curse at people? What if that was our real voice? Thank you.

my bestfriend and me called smartcarpet multiple times at her house, and we called so much the cops called. we were so scared we hung up, and they didn't call back. i think prank calls are the least of their problems.

dial *67 before you crank call anyone else it will hide your number so the caller id cannot identify you
No you can't get in trouble unless you made a bomb threat. SHe is allowed to curse at people as long as no one complains or her boss hears her

Technically, she should not have cursed at you, that was an error in judgment on her part. If you had her name, you could call corporate and complain. Then again, you were disguising your voice... and it would look bad to file a complaint when you were, in fact, making prank calls.
To LT for President: using *67 to hide your number from caller ID is great when your hiding it from the person your talking too. However, if any sort of trial comes about, they will subpeona the phone records from the phone carrier, which will show the calls being made.....
