    7 girls * 2 legs = 14 legs
    7 girls * 7 backpacks*7cats*4 legs = 1372 legs
    7 girls * 7 backpacks*7cats*7 kittens*4 legs = 9604

    14 legs + 1372 legs + 9604 legs = 10990 legs

    or

    10990 legs + 2 legs = 10992 if you include the bus driver
