Bury the cat in the back yard, and plant an evergreen shrub over it, so it will always be green, and alive, as a memorial to your pet, and you will always know where it is buried. Our pets will always be a part of our lives, even though they are gone.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE answer me this. Why did you bury your cat in the front yard? How can that possibly be a joke? If I would have cut any living thing in half like that with a shovel I probably would have thrown up and then wanted to kill myself.
So to answer your question, the best thing to do would be to tell her the truth. Because she will eventually find out sooner or later what you did. Better when you tell her now rather than later when you could get in big trouble.
I think the most important question here is: Was that its ninth life or not? If not, I'd sleep with one eye open if I were you.
